Lauren Conrad’s holiday 09 collection is on fire! We love the Lauren Conrad Ashlee dress in red, with it’s one shoulder and heart shaped neckline. There’s also the Lauren Conrad Christina dress that Lauren herself wore to the MTV Movie Awards. It looks fabulous in royal blue, one of the hot fall colors. And if you love high waisted skirts, try the Lauren Conrad Sammy skirt in gray. Looks great with a black tank or halter, like the Lauren Conrad Ilene top, and purple goes well with it too! The Lauren Conrad kat wrap is also great for cold weather.

The award for stylista of the week goes to Keira Knightley, hands down, who stunned in this purple Erdem cocktail dress at the VIP party for her new movie “The Edge of Love”. Keira made what was, in my opinion, a fashion blunder at the premiere of the same movie by wearing an unflattering jumpsuit and blazer, but she more than compensated for that with this look. Here, she’s absolute perfection! (weight, or lack there of, aside of course)
I would say this entire look is on point, although I would’ve gone with a slightly different shoe. Nevertheless, I’m loving this dress with it’s layered, finely pleated skirt, cascade of rosettes at the bust, and the lack of jewelry; it’s perfect just simple like that. Pretty hair and nice clean, fresh make up as well.

Voom by Joy Han Betty Tube Dress
Sexy tube cocktail dress from Voom clothing. Who doesn’t love black and white?
I like this new trend of cut out wedge heels. It’s fun, quirky, kinda artsy but all around easy to wear.

The Danger Patent Cutout Wedge from Kors Shoes is a good alternative to the chunkier styles.

I’m not that wild about the Taildrop by Nine West. They look sort of ….surgical? Sterile? I cant explain it.

The best choice would be the Ariess by Steve Madden. They’ll go with a variety of Spring outfits and you’ll still get that cut little cut out in the heel.
Jennifer Lopez debuted her third fashion line JustSweet at fashion week last year. I had no idea they had already launched an ecommerce site, and it’s a shame that I missed their winter collection because there were a few to die for sweaters. I don’t think their spring line is as strong but there are a few things that I like, such

The flutter top, which is perfectly wearable and casual. It’s on sale for $12.99; you can’t beat that price.

The cami w/ sparkle bust panel is a great going out top.

The striped peekabo top. Love the colors on this, and it’s another great deal at $21.99.

And lastly, the Chandellier asymmetrical top. Asymmetry is hot right now, and a graphics are good every once in a while. This one is $19.99.
It’s not exactly cutting edge fashion, but these tops are fun and great to throw on with a pair of jeans.
V neck cardi’s are a hot commodity these days. For anyone who’s looking for an alternative to the trendy lengthy sweaters, short cardigans are always a cute look. I especially love the Knitted Pleat Cardi from Top Shop because of it’s cute little puff sleeves. It’s a basic piece, yes, but you can always dress it up with a ruffly blouse underneath.

I’ve been wanting a leather pencil skirt or dress for a little while nw, and I came across one by Helmut Lang on Shop Bop. It’s on sale for $240 (50% off) right now, and that’s not shabby at all considering the material and the designer. I’m no so sure about that flap on the side though, unless it’s being worn with a shirt tucked in.

Love, love, love Mint by Jodi Arnold. This line has become huge over night and it’s not hard to understand why. One of their newest pieces is this Pleat Neck Dress. Te shape of the dress is so feminine, especially the sleeves, and I love designers who go out on a limb a little bit with graphics and design, instead of just making things plain. The print down the middle really completes the dress. I would prabably wear this with a cumerbound. See it at Shop Bop.

Just came across these brand new shoes by Davis by Ruthie Davis. The orange ones are kinda odd but oddly cute? They both have sort of a futuristic feel to them but I think they’re totally wearable. Straps are very in right now, and I especially like how delicate the strap is on these. Check ‘em out on Shopbop.

Basic shirts are a great thing to have in the closet for lazy days. This Miss Sixty shirt is great because it has a bit of style t it. It’s pretty thin, but I love the color and the draping at the bust. It would be great for layering or just on it’s own with jeans. It’s at Asos.
